01. Production Times
We strive to provide the most accurate arrival date. However, delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances (such as delays from suppliers, shipping carriers, or natural disasters). We will do our best to keep you informed of any delays to your order.
02. Shipping Fees
Delivery costs will be confirmed after placing your order.
We calculate individual shipping quotes for each order to provide you with the best rate based on the size and destination of your items.
If the quote does not meet your expectations or you choose to decline the proposed shipping costs, you can cancel your order. In such cases, we will issue a full refund without any additional charges. Our goal is to provide a safe and affordable delivery experience.
03. Shipping Time
Within the EU, the shipping time is 4–5 business days. Overseas shipping takes 7–10 business days, excluding customs clearance in each country. Please understand that the delivery time depends on the final destination. These timeframes are approximate and do not account for shipping delays. We will do our best to keep you informed of any delays to your order.
When your order is shipped, we will email you the tracking number of the package.
Please note that once the order has been shipped, it is impossible to exchange any items or make changes to the order.
04. Transportation and Furniture Installation
We use wooden crates to transport our packages. Obstacles reserves the right to select the shipment method that best ensures the safe transport of your package. This may occasionally result in longer delivery times; in such cases, you will be notified.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the products will fit through stairways, doorways, and any tight or restrictive spaces. Please verify that the item you’re ordering is appropriately sized for delivery into your home. If you have any questions or concerns regarding dimensions, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
Some large items, such as dining tables, will be shipped unassembled. We recommend having a professional on-site for assembly. This can be arranged either through the transport company handling the shipment from the port to your delivery address or by hiring a local professional directly. The Marina Sofa, while shipped assembled, may require a crane or pallet transport for its installation.
Please note that delivery is only to your front door; the courier does not provide services such as delivery to your room of choice, assembly, or unpacking. We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
05. Damage in Transit
Our products are handcrafted. Small imperfections are often inherent to the natural materials we work with and are what make each piece unique. However, if your item arrives damaged in any way, we urge you to contact us immediately. Our team will be happy to assist you.
If a product is damaged in transit, we recommend that you do not accept the damaged goods or sign the delivery slip with the note "product damaged/broken." Please inform the carrier and us immediately. We will need this information in writing within seven days of receipt.
If you have already accepted damaged goods, please email us with your invoice number and photos of the damage. It is important to have photos of both the delivery box and the product itself. Include everything in the email so that we can file a damage report with our insurance. Please keep the products safe until we confirm the situation.

06. Duties and Taxes
For EU customers, prices include Spanish VAT at 21%. If you're a B2B customer needing invoicing and VAT-exclusive pricing, please contact us at obstacles@obstacles.es for assistance.
For orders outside the EU, additional charges such as VAT, import duties, and taxes may apply upon your package’s arrival. These are imposed by customs and are not collected at checkout. Please note that Obstacles does not cover additional costs resulting from customs clearance delays or unpaid duties/taxes. Contact your local customs office for further details.
07. Returns & Exchanges
Each product is made to order and produced with a specific finish; therefore, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once an order has been placed.
